Winners of the 2008 Photo Essay Contest
The following prizes were awarded:
- First Prize: $150 for the author and $75 for the author's chapter - "Petionville/Cite Soleil" by Aimee Hylaris and "Childhood Obesity" by Jessica Korves of the College of Southern Nevada.
- Second Prize: $100 for the author and $50 for the author's chapter - "Pirating Affuence" by Thomas Feistel of Irvine Valley College
- Third Prize: $50 for the author and $25 for the author's chapter - "The Struggle." by Dale Nelson
